OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Three Palestinians, including a child, were wounded by Israeli police forces on Tuesday evening during the ongoing assault on Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said the child was shot in the shoulder by Israeli forces deployed around the camp. His injury was described as minor.
Another Palestinian was shot by Israeli gunfire during ongoing confrontations near the Qalandiya Vocational Training Institute, as Israeli forces continued firing and maintaining a heavy presence around the camp.
As part of the continuing assault, Israeli forces also distributed demolition notices along Airport Road in Qalandiya refugee camp amid continued tensions and confrontations in the area.
The injuries come amid an ongoing Israeli escalation in Qalandiya and its surroundings, including the evacuation and seizure of the UNRWA-run Qalandiya Vocational Training Institute in an operation led by far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
