GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli forces carried out nine new violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement overnight and into Friday morning, leaving two Palestinians killed and several others injured, while targeting multiple areas across the Strip.
Local sources reported that Abdullah Yassin was killed after being shot by Israeli forces near the Wadi Gaza area in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis received the body of one citizen and four others wounded, including children, following an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced families in the industrial zone south of the city.
The victim was later identified as Zaki Youssef Abu Mustafa, 41, who succumbed to injuries sustained in the attack.
Earlier, two additional injured civilians arrived at Nasser Medical Complex after Israeli artillery shelled Al-Bi’a Street north of Khan Yunis.
Military activity intensified across southern Gaza, where Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Yunis, while military vehicles and cranes positioned east of Khan Yunis and the town of Al-Qarara fired extensively toward surrounding areas.
In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles stationed north of Al-Bureij refugee camp intermittently fired toward residential neighborhoods.
In Gaza City, Israeli reconnaissance drones flew at very low altitudes over the Al-Rimal district in the western part of the city, while Israeli forces launched several smoke shells north of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through shelling, gunfire, and attacks on civilians in various parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in several casualties on an almost daily basis.
Earlier this week, Gaza’s Government Media Office announced that it had documented 3,269 Israeli ceasefire violations since the agreement came into effect in October 2025 through mid-June 2026.
According to the office, those violations have resulted in the killing of 992 Palestinians, injuries to 3,144 others, and the arrest of 95 people during the same period.
