Gaza (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces continued their blatant and criminal violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza on Wednesday, carrying out heavy artillery shelling and indiscriminate gunfire in several areas of the Gaza Strip, killing at least two Palestinian civilians.
A local source reported that 16-year-old Ahmad Ismail was martyred in a brutal Israeli bombardment in the al-Huja area of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Similarly, another Palestinian civilian was killed by direct Israeli army gunfire in the Halawa camp area of Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza.
Local sources said that Israeli artillery heavily shelled areas east and west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, while Israeli tanks also continued intense and indiscriminate gunfire.
Israeli artillery also heavily bombarded areas east of Gaza City, east of Deir al-Balah, and several areas of Khan Yunis.
Israeli naval gunboats opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Yunis, while Israeli forces carried out bombardments and fired illumination flares in the al-Tina Street area south of the city.
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, seven Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were martyred and several others were wounded in indiscriminate Israeli gunfire and bombardment across different parts of Gaza. The attacks were carried out amid clear violations of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli military incursions, and continued military operations.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2023, the total number of Palestinians martyred has reached 1,333, while 4,398 others have been wounded. In addition, the bodies and remains of 815 martyrs have been recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal aggression against Gaza on October 7, 2023, the overall Palestinian death toll has risen to 73,462, while the number of wounded has reached 174,509.
