Two Palestinian children wounded in settler attack in West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinian children were injured in the head and face early Saturday when extremist Jewish settlers attacked their family’s vehicle in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said settlers hurled stones at the car of Ahmad Owais as it was traveling in the Wadi al‑Sha‘ar area between the town of al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya and the city of Salfit, directly striking his children Mustafa and Ali.

The two children were rushed to Yasser Arafat Hospital in Salfit for medical assistance.

In other incidents, extremist settlers launched multiple dawn attacks across several West Bank areas. In Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, settlers attacked Palestinian homes and rampaged through an apartment building.

The nearby village of Umm Safa witnessed violent clashes with Israeli forces following a settler attack on its outskirts, leaving several residents injured and suffering from exposure to tear gas.

In a related development, settlers set fire to large swaths of farmland after attacking towns and villages across the West Bank.

These settler attacks were accompanied by Israeli military measures, including the closure of several checkpoints and main roads, aimed at securing settler movements and facilitating their attacks on Palestinians and property.
