GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinian citizens, including a child, were martyred and others were injured in Israeli attacks, while the bodies of two victims, shot dead several days earlier, were recovered Thursday in the Gaza Strip, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 224th consecutive day.
According to media sources, 13-year-old Jude Talaat Duweik was killed and two other citizens were injured after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb on a group of civilians in the Beit Lahia project area, north of Gaza.
Another citizen was martyred when Israeli forces opened fire at him in the town of al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Earlier at dawn, a number of Palestinian citizens, including children and women, were injured following an Israeli airstrike on a house in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Local sources said that a warplane bombed a house belonging to the Ismail family east of the camp, shortly after warning its residents and forcing them to evacuate.
The sources added that the victims sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor as the explosion hurled shrapnel and debris across a wide area.
Ambulance and civil defense crews rushed to the scene to provide help and transport the wounded to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army issued evacuation warnings for other sites inside al-Maghazi camp, including a girls’ school, though those locations have not yet been struck.
A young man was also injured by Israeli gunfire north of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while another one sustained injuries after a drone dropped a bomb in Halawa refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the civil defense service announced that its crews recovered the bodies of two truck drivers, several days after they were targeted by Israeli gunfire in the Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza.
During the night, the Israeli army carried out six detonation operations against homes in the eastern and northern areas of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.
Israeli forces also detonated several residential buildings east of Gaza City.
