WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinian young men were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday near the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur in northern al-Khalil.
The slain young men were identified as Issa Awad, 19, and Rida Awad, 15, from the town of Beit Ummar in northern al-Khalil.
The IOF reportedly seized their bodies and prevented Palestinian ambulance crews from reaching them.
Last night and early Monday morning, the West Bank witnessed a wide escalation by Israeli forces and settlers.
In Nablus, a Palestinian woman was wounded after being beaten by Israeli soldiers during an IOF raid in the village of Kafr Qallil.
The IOF also kidnaped a young man from his home in Nablus City’s al-Makhfiya neighborhood and stormed other areas of the city and nearby towns.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces beat and injured a young man after storming the town of Saida and raiding some homes.
The IOF also stormed the town of Bal’a and Illar in Tulkarem, with no reported arrests.
In Jenin, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man after raiding his home in al-Kharuba neighborhood of the city.
In Ramallah, doctor Mazen al-Rantis was taken prisoner following an IOF raid on his home in the village of Rantis, west of the province.
In a separate incident, a horde of settlers set fire to several Palestinian cars in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah.
