Gaza (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Monday after Israeli warplanes carried out strikes in central Gaza City, as ceasefire violations continue.
According to local sources, Israeli aircraft targeted a vehicle on Ahmed Abdulaziz Street in Gaza City, launching at least three airstrikes. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of a man and a woman, while several others were injured. Multiple vehicles in the area were also heavily damaged.
Sources further reported that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, while continuous artillery shelling was carried out in several nearby locations.
Israeli helicopters also fired on eastern parts of the Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City early in the morning, accompanied by additional artillery bombardment in the same area.
Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through ongoing airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire across various parts of the Gaza Strip. The continued blockade and restrictions on movement have further worsened the humanitarian situation.
According to the Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire began on 10 October, the total number of martyrs has reached 1,028, with 3,249 people injured, while 784 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
Since the start of the war on 7 October 2023, the total death toll has risen to 73,038, with 173,357 injured.
