Two Palestinians Wounded in Israeli Settler Attack in West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinian citizens were injured on Sunday evening after extremist Jewish settlers savagely assaulted them in eastern Qalqilya, while Israeli forces stormed towns in Ramallah and Jerusalem and kidnaped one citizen.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics treated two Palestinians who were wounded after being beaten by settlers during an attack on an agricultural area in the town of Far’ata, east of Qalqilya.

In Ramallah, Israeli forces raided in the evening the towns of Deir Dibwan and Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, and fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades in Deir Dibwan, with no known reason.

In east Jerusalem, a horde of settlers installed barbed wire around the Bedouin communities of al-Mahtoush and al-Tabneh near the Khan al-Ahmar area, cutting off access between the two hamlets and restricting movement for residents and shepherds.

The Jerusalem Governorate said that the two communities endure persistent settler violence and harassment, including road closures, destruction of water infrastructure, racist slogans, assaults on shepherds, and restrictions on access to grazing areas.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided a home in Abu Dis, southeast of Jerusalem; no details were immediately available on the homeowner’s identity or the purpose of the raid.

Israeli forces also stormed the east Jerusalem town of Eizariya and kidnaped a young man from his home.
