WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settlers launched a wave of attacks and violations under direct protection from Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank during the past 24 hours.
According to media sources on Thursday, settlers stole more than 100 sheep and a vehicle, damaged another car and a solar power system after attacking the home and farm of the Jabarin family in the Jabel al‑Qarn area of al‑Maniya town in the east of Bethlehem.
The settler attack came after Israeli forces stormed the Jabel al-Qarn area and kidnaped some members of the family.
In Nablus, settlers vandalized property, blocked roads, and besieged a house in the town of Qusra southeast of the city.
Settlers also tore up copies of the holy Quran during a violent attack on a house in the town of Beita south of Nablus.
In another incident, settlers stormed the village of Awarta southeast of Nablus with their vehicles, and later brought their families to settle in the Tubasi family’s house in Jalud after seizing it and expelling its owners following a weeks-long siege.
In Ramallah, settlers attacked the Abu Fazaa family homes east of Taybeh village and set fire to swaths of land belonging to al‑Mazra’a al‑Sharqiya near the main road close to Sinjil town north of the city.
In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers escorted by soldiers harassed Palestinian shepherds in Khirbet al‑Hadidiya and carried out provocative tours in Khirbet Samra.
In Qalqilya, settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles and young men at the entrance of Kafr Laqif town east of the city.
In Jenin, settlers and soldiers stormed the evacuated site of Kadim settlement adjacent to the city’s eastern neighborhood as a prelude to reestablishing it, and raised Israeli flags along the bypass road north of the province.
Settlers also began establishing a new pastoral outpost near Khirbet ad-Daqiqa south of al-Khalil, and expanded another outpost near the Ma’azi Jaba Bedouin community north of Jerusalem.
