WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settlers launched a wave of attacks and violations across the occupied West Bank over the past 24 hours, targeting Palestinian citizens and property.
In the town of Mikhmas, north of Jerusalem, settlers released their cattle into olive groves in an apparent attempt to damage the crops. They also stole olive harvests and tried to steal sheep.
In eastern Salfit, settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in the town of Yasuf, forced them off their land, and seized both harvested olives and an olive-picking machine.
In northern Ramallah, a group of settlers assaulted and injured a young man during his participation in the olive harvest in Turmus Ayya, while Israeli forces barred other farmers from accessing their fields.
In separate attacks, settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles on the road linking the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah. Settlers also damaged crops in the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta, west of Ramallah.
In southern al-Khalil, settlers attacked members of the al-Na’ameen family as they were harvesting olives in the Khirbet Aqwiwis area of Masafer Yatta and attempted to steal their farming equipment.
Settlers also blocked the road used by schoolchildren in Masafer Yatta and prevented them from returning to their homes.
In Birin village, east of al-Khalil, settlers from the illegal Adoraim outpost cut cables supplying around 20 Palestinian homes with electricity for the sixth time.
In Nablus, settlers cut electricity lines in the Massoudiya area near Nablus for the fifth time, in what local residents say is an ongoing effort to disrupt daily life and force them to leave their homes.
Meanwhile, a horde of settlers set up structures and placed Israeli flags in the Tubas plain, raising concerns over the establishment of a new outpost, while others pitched a tent in the Ain Iskaka area east of Salfit.
In the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, Israeli forces bulldozed and uprooted more than 200 mature, fruit-bearing olive trees.
Israeli forces also installed three road barriers in the town of Ya’bad and the villages of Kufeirit and Kafr Qud, southwest of Jenin, further restricting movement for local residents.
Other road barriers were deployed by the Israeli army between the Tubas plains and the Atuf area, further isolating Palestinian communities and obstructing residents’ movement.
