WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Jewish settlers have continued escalating attacks across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian homes, farmland, and livelihoods in a systematic campaign of terror aimed at forcibly imposing a new reality on the ground and displacing residents.
In the South al-Khalil Hills, settlers sprayed toxic chemicals over more than 8 dunums of wheat and barley fields in Wadi al-Rakhim near Masafer Yatta, causing significant crop damage. The farmland belongs to a Palestinian resident.
In the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, settlers opened live fire on local homes. No injuries were reported, but the attack spread panic among residents.
Settlers also attacked Palestinian tents in the al-Malih area of the northern Jordan Valley, another attempt to uproot the Bedouin communities living there.
Meanwhile, near the Yitzhar junction southwest of Nablus, settlers threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles, damaging several cars, and blocked the road to Khirbet Um al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, disrupting local movement.
Earlier on Thursday evening, settlers stormed the Hamamat al-Malih area again, vandalizing tents and attempting to steal livestock while terrorizing the families living there.
Palestinian sources reported an intensifying wave of settler violence in the northern Jordan Valley targeting Bedouin homes, grazing lands, and livelihood infrastructure. These attacks, often carried out under Israeli army protection, have already led to the forced displacement of several Palestinian families.
The goal, rights groups warn, is to empty the Jordan Valley of its native Palestinian residents and expand illegal Israeli settlement control over the area.
