WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The United Nations said it documented more than 1,800 attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank during 2025, according to a statement issued on Friday.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) recorded settler attacks that resulted in injuries or property damage across approximately 280 Palestinian communities throughout the West Bank.
Separately, the Palestinian Authority’s Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that settlers carried out 4,723 attacks against Palestinian civilians and their property across various West Bank governorates over the course of 2025.
According to the commission, these attacks led to the killing of 14 Palestinians. Settlers also set fire to 434 locations, including homes, agricultural lands, and other civilian property.
The figures highlight what UN officials and Palestinian institutions describe as a sustained escalation in settler violence, amid growing concerns over the lack of accountability and the deteriorating security situation for Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank.
