WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of overnight and early Thursday raids across multiple cities and towns in the West Bank, conducting house searches, arrests, and demolitions, while Israeli settlers intensified attacks on Palestinian communities and property.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, the IOF raided the villages of Al-Mughayyir, Turmus Ayya, Abu Falah, and the Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Bireh. They also arrested two Palestinians from Al-Mughayyir, while also closing the main entrance to the town.
In Nablus, the IOF entered the city through the Deir Sharaf and Al-Tur checkpoints, deployed in the Al-Basateen Roundabout and Al-Arsad Street in the northern mountain area, and arrested a young man. The IOF troops also raided the town of Kafr Qallil. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers carried out incursions into the villages of Awarta, Sebastia, and Burin, and continued provocative patrols near Palestinian homes in the Beit Furik Plain.
In the Jenin governorate, Israeli forces raided Meithalun, Sanur, and the village of Anin, firing illumination flares over the area. Four young men were arrested in Meithalun, while another Palestinian was arrested in Sanur.
Israeli forces also raided several neighborhoods in Tulkarem, the northern suburb of Shuweika, the Ras Shahada area of Anata, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem, Beit Ummar north of al-Khalil, and Adh Dhahiriya south of al-Khalil, as part of a broader military campaign across the West Bank.
In Salfit, the IOF demolished agricultural structures west of Kafr ad-Dik, while in Khirbet al-Deir, near Tuqu’ southeast of Bethlehem, they began demolishing the home of Ali Mahmoud Suleiman while preventing the family from removing their belongings.
Settler attacks also continued, with Israeli settlers vandalizing Palestinian vehicles in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and assaulting residents in Khirbet Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, where they also raised Israeli flags over Palestinian homes.
