West Bank, Jerusalem Witness 190 Resistance Operations in September

Jerusalem, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), According to figures released by the Palestinian Information Center’s Mu’ti center, the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witnessed a significant increase in resistance operations and field clashes during September 2026, with 190 operations carried out by Palestinian youth and resistance fighters, resulting in the death of one Jewish settler and injuries to three others.

The center said the total included 13 major operations and 177 popular resistance activities, amid continued raids, attacks, and clashes across cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The major operations included four shooting and armed-clash incidents, two stabbing or attempted stabbing incidents, four vehicle-ramming or attempted ramming incidents, one incident involving the burning of settlers’ vehicles, and two incidents involving damage to their vehicles.

Meanwhile, 177 popular resistance activities were recorded, including 37 incidents involving confrontations with Jewish settler attacks, 133 clashes of various forms, one incident involving the throwing of a Molotov cocktail, and six demonstrations and rallies.

These developments occurred amid continued Israeli attacks in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem and growing settler violence against Palestinians and their property, while a tense situation persisted on the ground in several areas.

According to the latest figures from the Palestinian Information Center’s Mu’ti center, the total number of Israeli occupation violations recorded in the West Bank from January 2018 through September 29, 2026 reached 452,692, averaging 141.7 violations per day.

In the same context, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded 628 attacks by Jewish settlers across the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, during August 2026. The attacks targeted Palestinians, their property, and their lands.

The figures reflect the continuing escalation in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, where raids and settler attacks have coincided with resistance operations and clashes, maintaining a persistent climate of tension and violence across the region.
