West Bank raids intensify as IOF targets residential and business areas

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of raids across several cities and towns in the West Bank last night and on Tuesday, arresting at least one Palestinian, breaking into homes and forcing businesses to close.

According to local sources, the IOF stormed several towns and villages in Ramallah province and kidnaped two young men from the town of Beitunia.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Abwein north of Ramallah, conducting raids and searches of several homes.

Israeli forces ordered storeowners to close their businesses in the town of Sinjil north of Ramallah.

In Nablus, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked the headquarters of al‑Tadhamun Charity in the city center and delivered a notice ordering its closure for one year.

In Bethlehem, Israeli troops raided several homes during a raid in the al‑Arouj area of Janata town east of the governorate.

In al-Khalil, the IOF raided dozens of homes in Yatta City during an operation that lasted several hours.

The IOF reportedly confiscated several vehicles during a campaign in Halhul town north of al-Khalil.

Similar IOF raids on homes took place in the town of Illar, north of Tulkarem.

The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
