West Bank [The Palestine Information Centre]Israeli forces have gunned down yet another Palestinian in the northern West Bank, shortly after killing two elsewhere in the occupied territory.
The latest fatality, named 24-year-old Abdel Jawad Hamdan Saleh, was caused on Friday during a demonstration against Israel’s illegal settlements in the village of Umm Safa north of the city of Ramallah, the Palestinian health ministry announced.
The Israeli army said the protesters had begun throwing rocks at its forces, who “responded with riot dispersal means and live fire.”
Earlier in the day, two Palestinians had been killed during an Israeli raid on the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
