GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and Monday morning several Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, the IOF raided several homes in Ya’bad town in western Jenin and kidnaped 20 young men after assaulting and interrogating them. Some of them were released later.
In al-Khalil, the IOF stormed Dura town and kidnaped dozens of citizens before releasing a number of them after questioning them inside a house they used as an interrogation center.
Three other citizens were taken prisoners following an IOF raid in Surif town, north of al-Khalil.
The IOF also kidnaped a father and his son from their home in the Old City of al-Khalil.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces kidnaped five citizens, including a father and his three sons, after ransacking their homes in the city.
In Bethlehem, Israeli plain-clothes soldiers kidnaped a young man from al-Deheisha refugee camp.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces attacked citizens with tear gas and kidnaped one young man from his home in Shuafat refugee camp.
A Jerusalemite woman identified as Nafisa Ibrahim, a resident of Anata town, was kidnaped on Sunday evening by Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint of az-Za’im in the east of the holy city.
