Pakistanis pledged united struggle in defence of al-Aqsa mosque while they observed al-Aqsa Defence Day on Friday in all over the country.
Pro-Palestine rallies were held across the country under the aegis of Palestine Foundation of Pakistan to renew Pakistani nation’s pledge for a united struggle to defend the Aqsa Mosque Jerusalem.
Main demonstration was held outside of Bait ul Mukarram Mosque in Karachi after Friday prayer. Hundreds of people participated in the demo. They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with the slogans such as: Down with U.S.A, Death to Israel, No to Israel, We shall sacrifice our lives for the sake of Aqsa Mosque, We are with the Palestinians and We condemn the desecration of Aqsa Mosque by Zionist soldiers and their supporters.
Amid slogans of Death to Israel, Jamaat-e-Islami’s leader Naseem Siddiqui, Sabir Karbalai of Palestine Foundation, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Mehfooz Yar Khan of Awami Muslim League, former MNA Muzaffar Hashmi, and Shabbar Raza of Jafaria Alliance spoke to the protestors.
They said that Zionist army of illegitimate state of Israel and racist Jews stormed into the al Aqsa mosque and violated the sanctity of al-Aqsa mosque. They condemned the Zionist terrorism in Quds and demanded of international community, Arab League, OIC, NAM, IPU, and the international human rights organizations to voice protest and condemn the Zionist terrorism. They demanded that Israel should be punished and United Nation Security Council should order the UN’s peacekeeping mission comprising of OIC member states’ soldiers to punish the Zionists for their crimes against humanity in the sacred Palestine.
They said that Zionists would never be pardoned for mortifying the sentiments of Muslims though sacrilege of Aqsa Mosque. They said that Muslims states must send their army to counter the Zionist army in Palestine.
