An Awareness move is necessary to highlight Palestine cause in educational institutions. Dr. Shaista Tabsum

Karachi (Palestine Information Center ) A senior Professor Dr. Shaista Tabsum, who was elected as the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the largest educational institution in the city of Karachi, University of Karachi, Pakistan, has said that the awareness campaign on the topic of Palestine for students in educational institutions is the most important need of the time.

She expressed these views during a meeting with Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam. The delegation of PLF congratulated Dr. Shaista Tabasim on her election as Dean and also presented a bouquet. On this occasion, Dr. Sadaf Mustafa, Assistant Professor from the Department of Commerce, University of Karachi, was also present.

Dr. Shaista Tabsum said that the Palestine issue is the most important issue. She said that the issue of Palestine is an Islamic cause as well as a humanity cause. It is our duty to help the Palestinians according to the thoughts and ideas of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Appreciating the role and struggle of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, She said that to highlight the issue of Palestine among the youth, it is necessary to organize awareness programs at all levels in educational institutions.

The Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, while congratulating Dr. Shaista Tabasim, said that Palestine Foundation Pakistan is ready to support the research topics for the students who are doing research on the Palestine issue in the University of Karachi.

On this occasion, Dr. Shaista Tabasam paid tribute to this initiative.
