WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a massive arrest campaign in al-Khalil and Bethlehem to the south of the West Bank at dawn Wednesday.
28 Palestinians were rounded up in al-Khalil raids, including MP Muhammad Al-Tal and nearly 16 ex-prisoners.
Similar raids were also reported in Bethlehem, resulting in the arrest of 15 Palestinians.
The growing Israeli arrest campaigns in the West Bank came in a failed attempt to abort any anticipated rallies in support of the Gaza Strip. According to the health ministry, 61 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since October 7, including 14 children and women.
