WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and at dawn Wednesday.
Six Palestinians were detained in Beit Daqo town, northwest of Occupied Jerusalem, including two ex-prisoners and a university student.
The IOF also rounded up three Palestinians in Tubas and five others in Shuyoukh town in al-Khalil.
Another young man was also detained in Qalqilia.
The Israeli occupation army regularly conducts raid, search, and arrest operations in Palestinian towns across the West Bank, which have intensified this year with Palestinians arrested on a near-daily basis.
4,900 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails, including 28 women.
