DOHA,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq expressed his Movement’s gratitude, and appreciation for the official positions by a number of countries refusing to designate Hamas and its armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, as terrorists.
In a press release on Wednesday, Resheq said: “We extend our gratitude to Turkish and Algerian presidents, the Malaysian Prime Minister and today the Omani Foreign Minister for their official statements clearly expressing that the Hamas Movement is a national liberation movement that defends its land, people, and sanctities until the establishment of the Palestinian State, with Jerusalem as its capital.”
The Hamas official called on all Arab and Muslim countries as well as the free people in the world to “emulate these honorable positions that support the rights of our people and their aspirations for freedom, self-determination, and legitimate resistance against the longest and most dangerous occupation in the world.”
