GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), mHamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said that the escalation of extermination operations in the Gaza Strip demonstrates Israel’s contempt for all efforts by mediators and guarantor states.
Qassem stated in a press release on Tuesday that the criminal occupation army committed a new massacre in Al Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, continuing the genocide against the people of Gaza and violating the ceasefire. He added that the Peace Council bears part of the responsibility due to its incapacity, silence, and adoption of the Israeli position.
He stressed that the timing of this massacre on the Day of Arafah further exposes Israel’s racist reality and its disregard for the feelings of Muslims and their religious institutions.
On Tuesday, five citizens were killed and others wounded in an Israeli strike on Al Maghazi camp, as violations of the ceasefire persist.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft bombed a group of residents in the camp this morning, resulting in five martyrs and several injuries. According to the sources, the Israeli targeting was intended to protect occupation collaborators who attempted to storm homes in the area; when residents resisted, Israeli drones intervened to strike them.
