GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement has welcomed a joint statement by eight foreign ministers condemning Israel’s persistent violations in the Gaza Strip.
In a press release on Thursday, Hamas echoed remarks from eight Muslim and Arab foreign ministers, warning that Israel’s ongoing violations in Gaza risk collapsing the ceasefire’s second phase and undermining political negotiations.
Hamas affirmed that Palestinian factions engaged positively and responsibly with efforts to finalize the agreement’s implementation to pave the way for moving forward with phase two.
The Movement stressed that the priority now is to force the Israeli occupation government to stop its violations and honor its commitments under the ceasefire agreement.
The foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, the UAE in a joint statement issued earlier Thursday, strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing violations in Gaza, particularly the targeting of health facilities, attacks on civilian infrastructure, and the continued killing of civilians, including women and children.
