NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) distributed notifications in southern Nbalus towns on Monday stipulating the seizure of 18 dunums of Palestinian private lands.
Madma village mayor Abdullah Ziyada said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) handed the mayors of Madma, Burin, and Assira al-Shamaliya villages orders stipulating the confiscation of 17 dunums and 897 square meters of their land for military purposes.
He elaborated on the exact locations of those lands, noting that all seized lands are close to the Israeli settlement of Yitzhar.
The IOA has demolished 566 facilities in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the start of the current year including 213 houses, whose residents were forcibly displaced.
