WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank overnight and at dawn Thursday.
The IOF troops raided Odla and Beita towns, south of Nablus, and As-Samu and Yatta towns in al-Khalil.
At least two ex-prisoners were rounded up in al-Khalil raids.
Similar Israeli raids were reported in Arraba town, south of Jenin, Deir al-Ghusun, and Anabta towns of Tulkarem, and the Deheishe refugee camp in Bethlehem.
The IOF arrested two Palestinians in the Deheishe refugee camp, and detained more than 20 Palestinians after raiding their homes in Husan town and subjecting them to field investigations.
The Israeli occupation army launched a large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank 58 days ago, unleashing a violent campaign in Jenin that resulted in the death and injury of dozens of civilians, widespread destruction of homes and public and private property, and the displacement of thousands.
The operation later expanded to Tulkarem and Tubas, targeting mainly the refugee camps of Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and al-Fari’ah.
