WEST BANK,(The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Thursday several Palestinian citizens, mostly affiliated with the Hamas Movement, during a large-scale campaign in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped at least 97 citizens in the West Bank, including senior Hamas official Hasan Yousef and journalists Alaa al-Rimawi and Emad Abu Awwad.
Israeli troops also stormed Qibya village, west of Ramallah, and bulldozed the house of martyr Ahmed Ghaidan, who was shot dead on July 6, 2023 after he allegedly carried out a shooting operation near the illegal settlement of Kedumim in eastern Qalqilya.
On Wednesday, the IOF kidnaped at least 65 citizens during dawn raids on homes in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Since October 7, the Israeli army and police have carried out about 1,000 arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem, not to mention the detention of citizens from Gaza and workers in 1948-occupied Palestine.
