WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre) Violent clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday in different West Bank areas, while resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli soldiers in Tulkarem last night.
According to local sources, clashes occurred in Abboud town in northwestern Ramallah and Rujeib village in eastern Nablus.
The IOF also stormed the towns of Beit Rima and Kafr Malik in Ramallah and kidnaped a citizen from his home.
Three other citizens were reportedly kidnaped by the IOF during raids in al-Khalil City and al-Arroub refugee camp.
The IOF also stormed the towns of Sebastia, Awarta, Qusin, and Kafr Qallil in Nablus province, without making arrests, and clashed with local youths in Rujeib village in the north.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces assaulted Palestinian journalists Mohamed Turkman and Karim Khamaiseh and damaged tires of the car they were aboard at the checkpoint of Deir Sharaf in the northwest of Nablus.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed Hizma town and kidnaped a citizen from his home.
Police forces also raided Shuafat refugee camp in northern Jerusalem, with no reported arrests.
In Silwan district near the Aqsa Mosque, a number of local youths torched tires and raised banners in Ein Luza neighborhood in support of al-Qassam Brigades and Jenin.
Last night, resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli forces on Jabel an-Naser (mount) near Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem, while sirens were sounded in the camp to warn the residents of a possible IOF raid
