WEST BANK, , (The Palestine Information Centre) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Wednesday evening three Palestinian young men after raiding a barbershop in Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho in the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli special forces stormed the Aqabat Jabr camp and encircled a house and a barbershop before they were backed up by military reinforcements.
Soon later, three young men were kidnaped from the barbershop, amid clashes between local youths and the Israeli forces.
Resistance fighters reportedly detonated homemade explosive devices at military vehicles during the IOF raid in the camp.
In Ramallah, the IOF stormed on the same day al-Balou neighborhood in al-Bireh city and set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of Umm Safa village, with no reported arrests.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped two Palestinian citizens from the Old City and Silwan district.
Local sources said that one of those citizens was kidnaped after the Israeli municipality bulldozed a swath of land and structures belonging to him in Silwan.
