WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided a number of towns and cities across the West Bank and Jerusalem overnight and early Thursday, storming homes and harassing Palestinian residents.
In Nablus, the IOF broke into the city through the Beit Furik and Awarta checkpoints and raided the eastern area accompanied by a military bulldozer to secure Jewish settlers’ incursion into the Islamic site of Joseph’s Tomb.
The IOF continued its raid along Amman Street in eastern Nablus, while soldiers harassed several young Palestinian men in the central vegetable market area.
Jewish settlers also raided the village of Awarta, south of Nablus, where they performed Talmudic rituals at the Al-Uzair shrine.
In Jenin, Israeli forces raided the town of Arraba, southwest of the city.
The IOF troops also stormed Tammun, south of Tubas, and raided several homes, while settlers carried out provocative tours among Palestinian homes in the Al-Himma community in the northern Jordan Valley.
In the Tulkarem governorate, Israeli forces raided homes during an incursion into Qaffin, north of the city. IOF also stormed the town of Qabalan, south of Nablus.
The raids extended to Kifl Haris, north of Salfit, where Israeli forces searched homes in the Al-Fawwara area of Kafr Al-Dik, west of the governorate.
Israeli forces further raided Silwad, northeast of Ramallah; the village of Burqa, east of the city; Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho, where troops stormed homes; and Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.
In al-Khalil, Jewish settlers raided the Bir Haram Al-Rama area under IOF protection.
Settlers also stole Palestinian property from the Khallat Al-Hummus area of Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, and rampaged through the Khallat Al-Natsh area.
