WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an arrest campaign across the West Bank overnight and into Monday morning, kidnaping 17 Palestinians, including a minor and a blind man in need of special care.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped three citizens after ransacking their homes in al-Khalil City.
Another young citizen was taken prisoner following an IOF raid in al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men after raiding their homes in the neighborhood of Umm ash-Sharayet in al-Bireh City.
Israeli forces also kidnaped two citizens from al-Bireh City and the town of Beitin in eastern Ramallah, one of them after summoning him for interrogation.
In Nablus, the IOF closed the entrances of the village of Burqa with mounds of dirt and carried out raids on homes and arrests.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers kidnaped and detained several Palestinians after ransacking homes in the village.
In Jenin, four citizens from the family of Jaradat were kidnaped by the IOF, including two brothers, following raids on homes in the town of Silat al-Harithiya.
Israeli forces also kidnaped two young men, Ahmed Farraj and Ahmed Khamaiseh, from the town of al-Yamun. Farraj is blind and requires special care, according to his family.
