Israeli forces launch arrest campaign across the West Bank

WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli forces have arrested at least 15 people as part of a widespread campaign of arrests across the occupied West Bank at dawn Friday.

At least 10 Palestinians have been detained in Occupied Jerusalem, the Prisoners Media Office reported. Israeli forces have also carried out arrests in both Tulkarem and Jenin, it added.

In the city of Nablus, Israeli forces have also arrested three Palestinians from the same family.

The Israeli forces also stormed Qabatiya town, south of Jenin, in large numbers and besieged a local house before demanding those inside to leave.

The Israeli forces shelled the besieged house, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

All neighboring houses were also stormed during the raid.

Similar raids were reported in Yamoun town, west of Jenin.

The Israeli army continued its aggression against Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, amid fierce resistance.

Israeli forces imposed a curfew on citizens within the camp after forcing hundreds of families to leave their homes under threat of arms and by force, opening only one passage that citizens must pass through using eye and facial recognition cameras until they reach the Al-Awda roundabout west of the camp, where a tight siege was imposed, and its entrances were closed, amid threats to demolish and raze several homes.
