Israeli authorities renew travel ban on Jerusalem activist Hanadi al-Halawani

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli intelligence authorities on Wednesday renewed a travel ban against Jerusalemite activist Hanadi al-Halawani for one month, with the possibility of extending it for up to six months.

Israeli intelligence summoned al-Halawani for questioning at one of its facilities in Occupied Jerusalem before handing her an order renewing the travel ban.

Israeli authorities have imposed restrictions on al-Halawani for years, including preventing her from travelling abroad and repeatedly banning her from Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli police have also prohibited al-Halawani from communicating with prominent Jerusalemite figures and other activists as part of a series of measures targeting her activities and presence at Aqsa Mosque and in Occupied Jerusalem.
