WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man in southern al-Khalil and kidnaped other citizens from different areas of the West Bank on Saturday morning.
According to local sources, a young man was shot dead by Israeli forces near the illegal Negohot settlement in southern al-Khalil.
The martyr was identified as 25-year-old Mohamed Suweiti. He was killed in front of the Negohot settlement near the town of Beit Awwa, west of Dura, allegedly while attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
The sources said that the IOF seized the martyr’s body and refused to hand him over to a Palestinian ambulance crew.
The IOF also kidnaped a young man during a raid in the village of Kharsa, south of Dura in al-Khalil.
A citizen was reportedly injured by IOF gunfire in the village of Khirbet Salama, west of Dura.
In eastern Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped two citizens, including a teenager, from the town of Qusra and two others from the villages of Beit Dajan and Deir al-Hatab.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
