OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Jerusalem Governorate has condemned the fatal shooting of 15‑year‑old Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al‑Bireh City today, calling the incident “part of the ongoing pattern of daily killings and extrajudicial executions targeting Palestinians.”
According to its statement on Monday, the martyrdom of Jaber, a Jerusalem resident, raised the number of martyrs documented by the Governorate since the start of 2026 to 11 victims. This total includes two workers killed by Israeli forces near the town of al-Ram and three others shot dead by settlers.
“Dealing with the crimes of extrajudicial executions and victims merely as numbers and statistics, without taking deterrent international measures, encourages Israel to continue its systematic policy of killing Palestinians, especially children,” the Governorate said.
The Governorate called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities by taking immediate action to end Israeli crimes, end the policy of impunity, urgently provide international protection for Palestinian children, and ensure Israeli war criminals are held accountable.
