BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Monday that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon has risen to 4,175 killed while 12,164 others were injured since March 2.
In its daily report, the ministry said 49 additional victims were recorded over the past 24 hours, as recovery teams continue to retrieve victims from affected areas.
The Lebanese Civil Defense reported recovering the bodies of 13 victims from beneath the rubble in the southern districts of Nabatieh and Marjayoun, highlighting the scale of destruction caused by the Israeli attacks.
These developments come as a ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel takes effect, following a memorandum of understanding reached between Iran and the United States. The agreement is expected to help halt military escalation and pave the way for addressing the humanitarian consequences of months of fighting.
