GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), One Palestinian was killed and several others, including a young girl, were injured on Friday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential apartment in Gaza City, according to a source at Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
A Safa correspondent reported that two injured people, a woman and a young girl, arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex after an Israeli drone strike near Taj Mall on Al-Yarmouk Street in central Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on the eastern areas of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Israeli military helicopters also struck a house on Al-Mu’assasat Street in western Gaza City. No casualties were reported from the attack, while Israeli naval vessels fired toward the coast of Gaza City.
In northern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles advanced near the Al-Trans area in Jabalia, accompanied by heavy gunfire.
Israeli helicopters also opened fire east of Al-Masdar village and east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone fired heavily toward the eastern area of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis, as Israeli military vehicles advanced into the area.
Israeli helicopters and forces stationed east of Al-Qarara continued firing, while Israeli tanks shelled the area. Gunfire also reached Hamad City and its surroundings. Israeli forces fired illumination rounds east of the city, while Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the coast of Khan Yunis.
Israeli artillery also shelled western Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that four Palestinians were killed and 28 others injured over the previous 24 hours as a result of the continuing Israeli attacks.
The ministry said three of the victims were killed in recent attacks, while a fourth died of wounds sustained earlier.
It added that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them because of ongoing bombardment and dangerous conditions.
According to the ministry, 1,127 Palestinians have been killed and 3,643 injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, while 800 bodies have been recovered.
The cumulative death toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,250 Palestinians killed, while 173,751 injured, the ministry said.
