GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), One Palestinian was martyred by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 223rd consecutive day.
According to media sources, fisherman Mohamed Shamlakh was killed this morning when an Israeli gunboat opened fire at him off the coast of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, while armored vehicles opened fire east of Khan Yunis amid intensive drone overflights.
Artillery strikes also targeted Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Shortly before midnight, two citizens were injured when Israeli warplanes struck the intersection of Street 5 in Khan Yunis.
Additionally, Israeli aircraft targeted a house in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
After midnight, a warplane bombed the home of the Rizq family in Gaza City’s an-Nasr neighborhood.
