RAMALLAH, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian citizen was injured on Saturday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of the West Bank city of Ramallah.
The Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces and settlers attempted to prevent its ambulance crews from reaching the wounded citizen in the village before they managed to transport him.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the village, amid intensive gunfire, before raiding the house of Abu Ata al-Hajj
They added that IOF soldiers fired live ammunition directly at citizens, injuring one of them near the house.
“The IOF stormed the area following clashes that erupted when local residents confronted extremist settlers attempting to attack homes in the village near al-Hajj’s house.
