Palestinians Injured as Israel Resumes Gaza Ceasefire Violations

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Thursday with shelling and gunfire, resulting in injuries.

A medical source reported that a Palestinian was wounded by IOF gunfire east of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The IOF correspondent reported that the area has been subjected to repeated heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles positioned inside the so-called Yellow Line to the east.

Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire toward the cemetery area west of Khan Yunis, striking tents sheltering displaced Palestinians.

Israeli helicopters opened heavy fire east of Khan Yunis before resuming gunfire in the same area later.

Israeli artillery also shelled an area northwest of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli military vehicles also opened sustained heavy fire east of the al-Daawa neighborhood, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Earlier on Wednesday, four Palestinians were killed by IOF gunfire in the Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,338 Palestinians and injured 4,429 others, while 815 bodies have been recovered.

The overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,474 Palestinians killed, while 174,540 others have been injured.
