WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Tuesday several Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in the West Bank and J’lem.
According to local sources, one young man suffered a bullet injury and three others were kidnaped following an IOF raid in different areas of the Nablus province.
The Red Crescent said that an 18-year-old youth was injured in his leg during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in the old refugee camp of Askar in the east of Nablus City.
The IOF also stormed different neighborhoods of Nablus, including al-Dahiya, Rafidia, al-Quds, al-Jami’ah and al-Ma’moun, and deployed snipers on some tall buildings.
Two young men were reportedly kidnaped during IOF raids on homes in al-Ma’moun and Rafidia areas of the city.
Another young man was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Qusra village, south of Nablus.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces kidnaped five citizens, including two children under age 18, during raids in the towns of Teqoa and Beit Sahour.
Two other children, both 15, were kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
The IOF also stormed Beit Jibrin refugee camp inside Bethlehem City and ransacked several homes, with no reported arrests.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped two citizens from the city and Idhna town after raiding their homes.
Local sources said that Israeli forces raided a number of homes in Idhna town belonging to the family of martyr Muhanad al-Assoud.
The IOF has besieged al-Khalil and its towns and villages for a fourth day running with more checkpoints, roadblocks and barriers being erected.
The IOF also kidnaped two young men after ransacking their homes in Qalqilya and Salfit.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police forces detained about 20 young men during a raid in Beit Surik town, northwest of the holy city and released most of them later after interrogating and assaulting them.
Two young men were also kidnaped by police forces from their homes in east Jerusalem, particularly from Issawiya district and Shuafat refugee camp.
Meanwhile, the IOF closed the military checkpoints of Tayasir and al-Hamra in the northern Jordan Valley, prevented cars from using the roads and attacked a number of local residents in the area with tear gas.
In Ramallah, Israeli soldiers stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp and kidnaped 12 citizens from their homes.
