BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced Sunday that the death toll from Israel’s military offensive has risen to 4,304 people killed while 12,203 were injured between March 2 and July 5.
In a brief statement, the ministry said the figures include all those killed and wounded since Israel renewed and expanded its military operations in early March, following the period after the ceasefire agreement that took effect in November 2024.
The rising casualty toll comes as Israeli airstrikes and military operations continue despite previous efforts and agreements aimed at securing a ceasefire, including the April 17 agreement, with violations continuing to be reported on the ground.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s healthcare system continues to face mounting pressure as hospitals respond to the steady influx of casualties while ongoing field monitoring and documentation efforts continue across southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and Beirut’s southern suburbs.
