BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon killed at least five people and injured 24 on Friday, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
The ministry said in a statement that strikes hit five locations in the southern Tyr and Nabatieh regions and the Beqaa area in the east.
It updated an earlier toll given by Lebanese official media which had reported two of the deaths in the south.
Earlier, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone strike killed two young men riding a motorcycle near the engineers’ union building in Nabatieh.
Meanwhile, several border towns in southern Lebanon were hit by Israeli airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling, amid powerful controlled detonations.
