OCCUPIED JERUSALEM(Palestine Foundation Information Center)Palestinian activists and factions in the West Bank and Jerusalem have called for participating in massive rallies and observe a general strike today, Monday, across the occupied territories in support of the Gaza Strip and the resistance and in protest at the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces in Ramallah and Bireh governorate also called for participating in the rally to be held in al-Manara Square in Ramallah City in support of Gaza and in protest at the Israeli assassination policy in the West Bank.
In a statement, the National and Islamic Forces urged the Palestinian masses to participate in the sit-in to be held on Tuesday outside the Red Cross headquarters in Bireh in solidarity with the prisoners in Israeli jails and also in other popular marches and events to be staged in support of Gaza next Friday.
The National and Islamic Forces underlined that the Palestinian people’s struggle against the occupation would never stop without obtaining independence and freedom.
They also called on the UN and international organizations to take serious steps to curb the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
