BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army carried out intensive attacks in southern Lebanon on Wednesday evening, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, detonations, and land bulldozing, on Wednesday evening.
Late Wednesday, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes carried out two strikes on the town of Sarbin, while the Wadi Zibqin area came under artillery fire, coinciding with two additional air raids between the towns of Beit and Yater.
Heavy artillery fire struck the Litani River area along the Khardali highway, accompanied by a major blast conducted by Israeli forces in the town of Byout al-Sayyad, near Mansouri town in southern Tyre.
In Marjayoun district, an Israeli bulldozer carried out demolitions affecting several buildings in the town of Houla.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army bulldozed a swath of land in the town of Bani Hayyan, amid artillery shelling, while intermittent artillery fire also struck the town of Duhat Kafr Rumman and the area around al‑Dibsha hill.
Israeli forces carried out a massive explosion on the outskirts of the town of Baraachit, along with another blast in Majdal Zoun town, as part of a large-scale escalation in southern areas.
In Bint Jbeil district, the Israeli army raided the town of Sabrin and carried out detonations on its outskirts. Later, Israeli warplanes launched two new airstrikes on Sarbin, with no immediate reports of casualties.
Amid the escalation in the south, Israeli drones flew at low altitudes over Beirut, while others were spotted above the capital’s southern suburbs and the Zahrani area in southern Lebanon.
