WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued overnight and early Wednesday raids across multiple areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, carrying out searches, arrests, and field interrogations.
In Nablus, IOF troops entered the city and the New Askar refugee camp east of the city, arresting three young Palestinians. Local sources said Nimr Khreioush and Khalil Shehab were detained after their homes were raided in Nablus, while Nader Al-Tak was arrested from New Askar camp
Israeli forces also raided several homes in the camp, detained a number of teenagers, and subjected them to on-site interrogations before releasing them.
In Tulkarem, IOF troops stormed the town of Qaffin north of the city, conducting extensive search operations that lasted for hours and detaining several young men, including former prisoners, for field questioning.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested a young man during raids on homes in the village of Beit Qad, east of the city. Residents reported that homes were searched and their contents vandalized.
In Qalqilya, Israeli military vehicles entered the city and deployed throughout several neighborhoods. The IOF also raided and searched homes in the Nazzal neighborhood, arresting two people, including a former detainee, after storming his home and damaging its contents.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces entered the village of Beit Ta’mir east of the city and raided an unoccupied house, forcing open the gate and front door before searching it.
In Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces stormed the village of Beit Iksa northwest of the city and launched a large-scale raid campaign. According to local sources, troops spread throughout the village, entered numerous homes, and subjected dozens of residents to hours-long field interrogations.
Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian man after raiding and searching his home. Troops also converted one of the village’s homes into a military outpost, deploying soldiers around it while continuing searches and interrogations of residents.
Beit Iksa has been subjected to repeated Israeli military incursions, often involving home raids, arrests, and field interrogations targeting local residents.
