BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces continued their bloody war on Lebanon for the 37th day, launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling across the country in addition to ground incursion into several border villages, amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 60 people and the injury of 58 others in Israeli airstrikes on several towns in the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon.
At least five people, including a child, were martyred and three others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Bodai, east of the country, it explained.
The Ministry added that an Israeli raid on the city of Baalbek, east of the country, resulted in the martyrdom of three people and the injury of 17 others.
It further elaborated that 10 people were killed in two massacres carried out by Israeli warplanes that bombed the towns of Al-Hafir and Al-Alaq, west of Baalbek.
Another Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Ain Bordai in the Baalbek district.
This brings the death toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 8 of last year, to 2,710 martyrs and 12,592 wounded.
