WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) injured one Palestinian citizen and kidnaped others during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Wednesday.
According to local sources, a young man suffered a bullet injury last night during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in Abwein town, west of Ramallah.
The Red Crescent said that one of its ambulance crews provided a young man suffering from a bullet injury with first aid and transferred him to the hospital for medical assistance.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Samu and Beit Ummar, where they confiscated cars and ransacked several homes.
In Jericho, the IOF carried out violent raids on homes and kidnaped two young men from the refugee camps of Ein Sultan and Aqabat Jaber.
After their withdrawal from the camps, the IOF set up checkpoints at the northern and southern entrance of Jericho and restricted the movement of citizens and vehicles.
In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped two citizens, including the father of a wanted young man, during a raid in Qaffin town.
