Two Israeli Soldiers Wounded in Clashes in Southern Lebanon

Southern Lebanon (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army announced that two soldiers from the Golani Brigade were wounded during a clash with a Hezbollah fighter in the vicinity of Shakif Castle in southern Lebanon.

Hebrew-language media reported that an armed Hezbollah fighter opened fire on an Israeli occupation force while it was conducting house-to-house search operations in the vicinity of the castle, wounding two soldiers. The Israeli army later announced that it had killed the attacker.

The clash occurred amid continued tensions in southern Lebanon, where Israeli occupation forces have continued their operations in areas they have designated as a “security zone,” while also carrying out ongoing attacks on several parts of Lebanon.

According to the latest figures released by Lebanese authorities, Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 have killed 4,362 people and wounded another 12,368, while more than one million people have been displaced.
