GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the multiple Israeli attacks on areas in Yemen, including the Hezyaz power station near the capital Sanaa and the Hodeidah and Ras Isa ports on the western coast.
The Movement said the attacks are a “grave violation of international law” that compromises the region’s security.
Hamas said it stands with the Yemeni people and the Houthis, and expressed gratitude for their continued support for the people of Gaza.
It called on “Arab and Islamic nations” to stand together in the face of the “Zionist enemy’s terrorism.”
The Houthis, in solidarity with Gaza, which has been facing a genocidal Israeli war since October 2023, have targeted Israeli cargo ships or ones linked with Tel Aviv in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, vowing to continue operations until the attacks on the enclave end.
Since the beginning of 2024, a coalition led by the US has been carrying out airstrikes that it said target Houthi locations in Yemen in response to the group’s Red Sea attacks.
